Profit before tax (PBT) of Shankara Building Products Ltd stood at Rs 1.97 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 66.95% year-on-year, and plunging by 81.52% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 3 crore, nosediving by 46.11% YoY and tumbling by 69.53% sequentially. Total expenses posted a minor rise of 5.21% to Rs 346.52 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 321.03 crore, growing marginally by 8.80% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 2.37 crore, slipping by 6.69% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew marginally by 0.11% to Rs 1364.01 crore, while net profit plunged by 586.08% to Rs 3.84 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 1466% to Rs 16.74 crore, and PBT jumped 263.72% to Rs 7.82 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 100.94 crore in FY26, as against Rs 24.77 crore in FY25. Shankara Building Products Ltd nosedived by 53.17% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.20% during the same period.
